Welcome to Northwoods Music, the largest music store in the Twin Ports area. We offer a wide array of musical services, specializing in guitar lessons and repair. We also carry a large selection of instruments from brand new to the most unique vintage pieces. In addition to guitars, we also carry basses, banjos, mandolins, violins, harmonicas, band instruments and amplifiers. Northwoods Music also offers lessons on many instruments, and we provide a low cost band instrument rental program for all our local band students. Do you have a broken instrument that needs fixing? No problem. We do repairs on everything we sell and more, so stop by or call us today.

All Repairs are done by owner Scott Johnson and Luthier of over 30 years, Ron Koivisto. We are able to do a wide range of repairs from the very basic to the most complicated and detailed. Rates are individual and vary depending on the needs of the repair, please call to inquire.
Northwoods Music provides lessons for many instruments, including guitar, bass, piano, drums, and violin. Lessons are $14.00 per lesson, however students are required to sign up for a 3 month quarter. Please Call for Details.
